Be Kind Rewind, Prozac Nation
Just finished watching: BE KIND, REWIND dir. Michel Gondry
Verdict: Hated it! What the de-vil was Michel Gondry thinking??? I am sorely disappointed. Apart from the occasional saving grace of Jack Black, the movie was absolute poo with a capital POO. It was ridiculous and actually attempting to be profound and sentimental with was just a load of tosh and Danny Glover, Mos Def and Mia Farrow couldn’t have done a worse job of being less than convincing. Contrived, constipated and codswallop…not to mention boring. Harsh review? Yes, well I just wasted two hours of my life that I could have spent polishing my floors.
Just started reading: PROZAC NATION by Elizabeth Wurtzel
What better way to follow the wallowing depression of Sylvia Plath than with the wallowing depression of our medicated, angst ridden society as told by the suicidal Elizabeth Wurtzel?
